Cancellation Policy
Retainer & Payments A 50% non‑refundable retainer is required to hold your date and start services. The remaining 50% is due no later than 30 days before the event (unless otherwise stated in your proposal). Work does not begin until the retainer is paid and the agreement is signed. Rescheduling & Cancellation If you need to reschedule, we will try to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. If we are available, your retainer will transfer to the new date and there may be additional fees if the scope, venue, or location changes. If we are not available on the new date, or you cancel services for any reason, the 50% retainer is non‑refundable and covers the time spent reserving your date and work already completed. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event may be charged up to the remaining balance, depending on services and vendor work already performed. Late Fees Payments not received by the due date may incur a late fee of 15% of the outstanding balance per week until paid in full. If the event runs significantly behind schedule due to client or vendor delays beyond our control, additional overtime fees may apply at $75 per hour, billed in 30‑minute increments. Travel Fees Events taking place outside of [city/state or service area] may incur extra fees for travel, such as mileage, tolls, parking, lodging, and per diem. These are discussed and listed in your proposal/contract whenever possible. If extra travel or overnight stays become necessary because of changes to the venue, schedule, or weather, those costs will be billed to the client. Client Responsibilities You agree to: Provide accurate event information (date, times, venues, guest count, budget, and vendor details). Respond to emails and planning questions within reasonable timeframes so we can meet planning deadlines. Inform us promptly of any changes to the date, time, venue, guest count, or scope of services. Ensure venue access at agreed‑upon setup and breakdown times. Maintain any required permits or insurance, if requested by the venue. Make timely payments to outside vendors to avoid service interruptions on the event day. By paying the retainer, signing the agreement, and/or using Brix Bridal Services, you confirm that you have read and agree to these policies.
